How do I deal with an unfair landlord?

My roommate and I are in Florida. We are 2 single mom's, very clean, very puctual with rent (we've always been early, NEVER late..) and we pay $1000, and paid an $1800 deposit. We've had issues since occupying the house in November that have yet to be resolved. On a recent visit, my property manager tells me that my roommate and I need to go buy lumber and reinforce the stairs to the front door. Then she tells me to chip some paint off the wall, go to home depot and buy paint to paint all the walls..(I understand touching up, but c'mon, paint the ENTIRE house, when we've never touched it?!) We're on a water well, and our cold water line to the washing machine keeps getting clogged with sand. And the last straw was yesterday. Because the 1st fell on a Sunday, my roommate went to go drop the rent off to her office yesterday, the 2nd. The manager wants to tack on a $100 late fee because we were a day late (mind you, we're always early..) Am I wrong to find her actions unfair?

Good job! That is perfect! My daughter was the same only she had one more 8oz bottle on top. You sound like your doing a wonderful job. My little baby girl is now 15 months old and doing (still) the same routine although she wakes at 7am, has her sleep at 10am till 1pm and bed at 7pm.3-4 meals a day and around 3-4 8oz bottles. Plus juice and snacks. Its a great routine and she does it every day so she is also happy because she knows what to expect and when to expect it!

Recently (the last couple of months) I have been experiencing episodes of terrible lower pelvic pain?

Originally I went to the ER because I had been bleeding heavily for a few days and was having mind boggling pain in my lower left abdomen, the ride side of my pelvic area seemed to be swollen as well. The found blood in my urine but no bladder infection, no kidney stones, they did a scan and seen fluid buildup in my abdominal cavity and alot of inflammation but had no real answers. They sent me home with pain killers. I went to a gynecologist a few weeks later still having intermittent pain(even between periods), swelling on one side, low grade fever, irregular bleeding, sometimes having a period every two weeks. She did a pelvic exam and confirmed that I had inflammation and an infection-she guessed to be uterine infection caused by natural bacteria and my pap smear came back clean so she put me on some strong antibiotics. I went back in 2 weeks and the pain was better and I felt a little better because the infection and inflammation seemed to have gone away. Within a few short weeks the pain and swelling came back. I visited a regular doctor after I had now developed nauseau, chills, extreme fatigue and a low grade fever once again. This doctor did a blood panel which came back normal but said there was infection in my urine and put me back on antibiotics with no real answers....Also is painful more towards my cervix and the pelvic pain I experience is sometimes breath taking. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate some input. I've done online research and found everything from endometriosis to cervical cancer and I just am at a loss.. THanks

I have a nagging pain in my back and .?

I have been to a couple different doctors and they all just blow me off. I have been through testing for arthritis, physical therapy, MRI's, numerous blood tests, visits to the chiropractor and x rays. No one seems to have any answers for me and don't seem to want to help. I have been disrespected by one doctor to the point where I am fed up and about to give up. OTC medicines do not have any effect on me, nor do the MOBIC, Celebrex, or Flexeril, that I have been on. Right now my only way to get any sleep is Nyquil and Rum. Is there any one else going through this and what can I do. Do I have any where to complain about the doctors who have blown me off? (One doctor actually had told me to take Tylenol and then asked me if I ever heard of it. Then he wrote "Tylenol or Acetaminophen" on a piece of paper and told me to ask the pharmacist to help me.)

Oh my goodness I dont know where to begin. Your sadistic nature with your children is very disturbing. It is one thing to give a young girl a bob, which is chin length and requires almost as little mantainance as a buzz cut. Shaving someones head, especially when it is not socially acceptable for that person, can be traumatizing. It can act as a spirit breaker and has in concentration camps and military groups for centuries. You dont seem to like your daughters, that is upsetting. I feel very bad for your girls. The older ones will surely be ostrasized and teased beyond your understanding. This is only the best solution for YOU. And if youre trying to convince your wife thats exactly what you should tell her. Acually you should also include the part about you not wanting your children, she may find that interesting. Its a shame men like you have the priviledge of having a family.

Confusing girl situation?

Me and my mate gave blood last month at the Red Cross. I've donated previously so I know that I'm Blood type B-. My kids ages 6 and 8 go to school in the country. School has about 300 students from Kindergarten to grade 8. School had some vandalism and threats last year. Now they are locking the doors at recess and noon so that the students have to ask a teacher to unlock,delaying entry time, and let them in. Is it right? I think not!! what worries me is last year a dog came onto school property(turned out to be friendly dog) but, could have bitten kids. Recommendations for good cable series?

OK, so I have a crazy schedule and can never watch normal primetime shows on TV. Lately I have been watching HBO, Showtime series on DVD through Netflix, rather than sit through 2 hr movies. I have watched and the City, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Queer as Folk. I need a new show to watch now. Any recommendations, cable or network? I am open to all suggestions but I like shows that are older and have a lot of DVDS I can watch in order, rather than having to wait for each new season.

What made the QF 32 Pounder unsuitable for Tank use towards the end of WW2.?

I know what you are going to say it's too big, but looking at 3.7 Inch AA batteries (As you know it was based on) the rear breach area of the gun (Sorry I don't know what the rear gun section is called) doesn't look that much larger than the 8.8cm L/56, L/71 guns and American 90mm guns. I am interested to know if it was the gun, the guns transport platform or both that made the 32 Pounder to bulky and time demanding for tank or tank destroyer use. I'm not sure if the 32 Pounder has 2 part ammunition like the 3.7 Inch it's based on. I love love the American (I think the chis of an M24 Chaffee tank) SPG mounting the 150mm? Long Tom. The Long Tom I imagine would have been just as bulky, probably worse than the 32 Pounder gun to field when utilizing it's platform (like on the doentary Patton 360 against German Panzer's). I wounder if the 32 Pounder might have been mounted in a similar war or in a superstructure like a big Archer (But not back to front.). Cheers John.

I have been quit from smoking weed for nearly three months. However, people have been continuing to smoke (in a large, open room) around me. I was wondering if this could cause any or enough thc to be in my system to fail a urine test. Also, could anything else cause a false positive result? More physical descriptions of the panic Carmen was feeling would add to the scene, eg: pounding heart, clammy palms, darting looks etc, but you've done well. Wheight lifting rutines for MMA?

a lot of MMA fighters do wheight training. I was reading in a BJJ magizine that Royce Gracie (my idol) wheight lifts 3 times a week and does cardio traing four times a week. im currently taking up boxing which should age in striking and have a BJJ gym im looking into right now. I would like to know some wheight lifting ruitines that i could do that are strickling for prepairing for MMA fighting. Also any cardio ruitines or weekly MMA training routines in general. I think that someone might be using my Internet service, what can I do?

A few days ago I was having a lot of problems connecting to the Internet, so I called my ISP and they said that they would send someone over. They sent someone over and the guy that came over brought a laptop, a cord thingy, and a clipboard with all the info on it. When he came in my room, he saw that my computer had no Internet connection. So then he tried to connect to the Internet by hooking up his laptop to the modem, when he did that he got an Internet connection. And then he did some stuff on his computer like change some settings, and they he said that he would call at 1:00 PM. I waited and about 15 minutes after 1:00 he called, and he asked me if I had turned off or disconnected the router and/or modem, I said yes, and he said that I did not need to do that and he had me turn them back on. After that he told me to log in to my account and check if the Internet was working than, it was working. I think that he might have fixed it while he was at his office or somewhere, because how else could he have fixed my Internet connection without him being in my room with my computer? I think that he also might have gotten acces to my computer and fixed it by changing some things in my computer, you know like you can use remote istance or desktop istance in Windows XP/Windows Vista. I think he might have messed with my computer and changed some things, because my history was deleted, and some icons were moved/deleted. I am the only one who has access to my computer. I also think that he might now be able to track what websites I go onto. Like he gets the address of the webpage(s) that I am on right now on his computer and he can see. Now I don't feel safe doing online banking or shopping. I think he might also be able to use my IP address or be able to use my Internet connection wirelessly, I don't want him to see what pages I go on. How can I make sure that no one is watching me or tracking my site visits or using my Internet connection? Is there something I can download to secure my Internet connection from people not using my computer? I am using a desktop computer running Windows Vista Ultimate and my router name is Linksys and my modem name is Zhone.

Are they capable of being good dressage horses, or are they simply not suited for some of the movements? I ask because I've always loved riding Thoroughbreds and I find that a lot of them are quite good at getting round. Personally I think they're one of the most intelligent breeds as they learn so quickly, yet everyone disagrees. Mince can mean a couple of things. For mincemeat pie it is different, you can buy jars of mincemeat - though it makes a sweet pie apparently, not a meat pie. Otherwise mince is sometimes used instead of ground, I would buy ground beef or ground pork etc, otherwise would buy minced pork etc.

I have just completed my first year of college and have already changed my major 3 times. I absolutely love music for I have been a musician since I was 11 and I am now 20. As of now I am a Music Industry major and a Mathematics Minor. Here's the predicament: My girlfriend and I want to move to the UK after we get married in about a year. My university offers a few online Bachelor's degrees, but not Music industry, nor mathematics. If we moved then, her bachelor's degree and our combined salaries could get us the HSMP visa, but I would have to drop my Music Industry major and Math minor to settle with a computer science major and most likely a political science minor to get my online degree. Here's the reason I think I may change to that anyways: J-O-B-S. I've already searched for jobs under music industry and radio broadcasting in both the UK and the US, and I have pretty much come up empty handed. There are none. This has convinced me to consider changing my major to CS and my minor to Political Science or something similar. I don't really want to because my dream has always been to get out of college and go to work for a recording company as a producer or sound engineer. It sucks, but jobs are scarce, and I may be forced to change my major just to find a job in the future. I can always change it, work, suffer, and then go home to my wife, guitar, drums, recording equipment, and band and live the life I want out of work (lol). Every time I load a saved game, the first thing that pops up is a start-screen, i wouldn't mind, but the only problem is that after the file is loaded and the start screen pops up, I cant do ****. The whole game freezes. So ofc I tried to delete the save game files and everything. Nothing. Recently, I've tried to start a new game a couple of times, but the same thing happens. Clear retainer isn't fitting right?

I got my braces of yesterday and I got my clear retainer today. The top fits perfectly and I can hardly even notice it, but the bottom is funky. It kind of hurts my gums at the bottom when i put it on, I guess they're inflamed (How do I get rid of that?) but more importantly it dosn't really fit. On one side it's perfect but my molars on the other side, it's not hugging my teeth it's kind of popping up and it hurts. then when I relax my mouth my molars on that come together and I can't close my mouth all the way. My yorkshire terrier died last week and I'm redy for a new puppy?

A very bad year got me behind in paying some bills which are now in collection. I am in the process of trying to pay them off, realizing that my credit rating has been affected. From a moral standpoint, I told myself that I owe what I owe, and had every intention of paying the full amount, which I still want to do. However, I am curious if I do pay the full amount, will that help me restore my credit rating and eventually be able to get credit again? Or will it have no effect at all? If either paying the full amount or the partial amount I am being offered won't make any difference in my being able to restore my credit rating, then I need to know that. It had a plastic cover with vents in it, so I unbolted it and found what looked like a shiny box under the spare tyre apron. Is this some sort of oil catch canister? I can really relate to this, I had a 'friend' that was like that too. Eventually I had it out with her (on facebook- I couldn't do it face to face I'm a chicken) and now I'm a lot happier. Plus if this guy is horrible to you when u have it out, either do it on fb (so u have evidence of him being horrible, which is sneaky but meh I imagine he'd do it) or have it out with him with loads of people around. I believe Obama has done everything and more so far that he said he was going to do. He's reached out across the aisle to try and be bipartisan, only to be put down by Republicans for everything. His stimulus package is huge, but it has to be in order to get things working again. Bush's "bailout" package did nothing but make the rich richer and did nothing for main street and yet most still don't know what happened to the money, but you don't seem concerned about that. He is not Muslim, socialist, or communist, which were nothing but fabrications made up by the Republicans. He is Democratic and is all for Capitalism, but obviously Capitalism has only worked for the wealthy in the last 8 years. He has set up a strict committee to oversee where the money is going, how it's being spent and will punish those who misuse the funds as they did Bush's. He has set up a foreclosure program for millions of Americans, including you, so people can stay in their homes. If you read his stimulus plan it will create jobs for the millions and millions of Americans who have lost theirs. He's been President for less than 2 months and has done more than Bush did in 8 years. What is really the reason you don't trust him and hate him so much? I'm really starting to believe, sadly, that it truly is the color of his skin you don't like, but since you can't say that, will say anything else.

DON'T scrub everything, the good bacteria you just spent all that time growing lives on the surface of the gl and decorations as well as in the filter, scrubbing it off right after it's been established might cause some sort of mini cycle. when I clean my tank I only scrub 2 of the walls a week that way I never clean off too much of the bacteria. Question on untreated gangrene.?

My father has had diabetes for many years, earlier this year he developed gangrene and two of his toes were amputated. He recovered nicely and quickly but when gangrene set in his good leg he refused to go back to the hospital in fear they are going to amputate more. I have pleaded with him, but to no advail. His baby toe looks like its about to fall off his entire foot is black. He had lost probably about 80 pounds and looks no more than about 110 pounds. He refuses to eat much but drinks soooo much. Today he looks really bad, really week and says both of his legs are in extreme pain. As he is sleeping I see him twitching and his whole body sometime jolts and shakes. Are his organs shutting down? Is he surming to this infection? I can not see him suffer and I told him so but he refuses to go into a hospital.
