TTC- Blood type B- any issues?

Me and my mate gave blood last month at the Red Cross. I've donated previously so I know that I'm Blood type B-. We finaly got new donor cards in the mail and he is also B-( supposed to be a rare blood type with only 2% of the pop. having it...) We have been TTC for almost a month now( I know it may take a bit of time especialy since I have been on BC pills from Oct 2009-March2010) But I was just wondering if there would be any issues with the whole blood type and fetus thing. If not I could probly say I'ld have a good idea on the childs possible blood type! Thanks for any help with my question.
