Start screen bug in ratchet and clank: Crack in Time?

Every time I load a saved game, the first thing that pops up is a start-screen, i wouldn't mind, but the only problem is that after the file is loaded and the start screen pops up, I cant do ****. The whole game freezes. So ofc I tried to delete the save game files and everything. Nothing. Recently, I've tried to start a new game a couple of times, but the same thing happens. The start screen pops up just before I'm about to play as clank. Seems like the whole game is corrupt or something. I wouldn't mind buying a second copy, if it weren't for all the games coming the next couple of months.
