Are antidepressant pills addictive?

ino if i speak up about being so depressed all the time ppl will want to drug me. if they do, will i become dependent of stupid drugs for the rest of my life??? so if i run out of drugs i`ll want to end it all?? arent there long term side effects??? wats the alternative to stupid pills to pretend ur happy??
