Crash Bandicoot Warped?

This happened when i waz only 10 (I swear this really happend!) i wuz on the N.Gin warproom area and on the coca surfing thing, and i went around some islands, and i saw a weird crash dancing on an island... i came back to that lvl agin to show some friends and nvr saw it agin.... i looked it up, and found out it wuz the japanese crash, or "fake crash". has ne1 else seen this b4?
